Our Story
How Ami Ami got its name — and why it stuck
Ami means friend. Say it twice and you get something better: a friendship doubled, a bond repeated. That’s the whole idea. We wanted a place where the barista knows your order, the shelves hold something worth reading, and nobody rushes you out the door.
The hand-painted Talavera tiles at our entrance came first — every color in this place traces back to them. What grew around those tiles is a café, a bookshop, a dining room, and a stage, all sharing the same address on Miracle Mile.
